The Significant Natural Resource Area Management Plan is a planning document that will guide management activities and site improvements in designated Significant Natural Resource Areas in San Francisco for the next 20 years. The Recreation and Park Department is guided by public policy to manage these lands for their natural resource values (wildlife, plants, soils and water) and passive recreational and educational uses.
